Ashley jousts with The Banker at historic Warwick Castle

The lifestyle coach had faith in his box, but he ended up joining a very exclusive club...

Today, The Banker took us to a bend at the River Avon, situated outside a medieval landmark! Warwick Castle in the West Midlands was host to the latest helping of Deal Or No Deal On Tour.

26-year-old Ashley Davies from Bristol came onto the show adamant that he would win big money.

Ashley’s game at a glance:
Box number: 22
In the box: £0.01
Deal or No Deal: No deal
Final winnings: £0.01

The show got off to a good start, but the second round began with the jackpot being opened by the princess of the castle! What a curse! Ashley declined offers of £5,000 and £10,000. The Banker insisted that he was winning the battle against Ashley, and we had knights in shining armour giving us a demo! The lifestyle coach was keen to press on with the game, declining a further offer of £2,500.

Ashley’s next two rounds were disastrous, with the £100,000 coming out and leaving him with only three reds stacked against five blues. The Banker decided he wanted to play a game with Ashley – good knight or bad knight. The game was an opportunity for Ashley to either get an offer or for The Banker to be given the chance to look inside Ashley’s box. Ashley found the bad knights and unfortunately for him, The Banker was given Ashley’s box to have a peek inside.

Ashley didn’t believe him when Bankie told him that he had a blue in his box – so he pushed on, and his final round proved to be disastrous. The castle atmopshere turned sombre as Ashley’s choice of box, the death box, was looking likely to contain a very small amount. The Banker said that Ashley had the penny – and after declining offers of £500 and £250, Ashley carried on and opened his box. It did indeed contain the penny, but Ashley remained positive, despite becoming the latest member of the dreaded penny club!
