John’s Game
John doesn’t believe in systems. If he were to win big, he would split the money with charity.
Round one revealed the £1, £100,000, £250,000, £100 and £50. With the big two gone The Banker offered £800 – NO DEAL.
Noel was willing an all blue round but £35,000, £5 and £75,000 were found in Round Two. The Banker’s second offer was £80 – NO DEAL.
John revealed he had a dream about Deal or No Deal in which he had a big money win with Box 21. In Round Three £3,000, £10,000 and £750 were wiped from the board. The Banker rang and offered £3,500 – NO DEAL.
Round Four saw the 1p revealed but that was followed by £1,000 and £10,000. The Banker made a good fourth offer £7,500. John’s wife joined him at the table. With £50,000 the only big red left it was a hard decision. John admitted that since his illness he takes less gambles, however – NO DEAL.
50p was greeted with a cheer at the start of Round Five, only for the £50,000 to be revealed next. £5,000 finished the round. The Banker acknowledged how tough turning down the last offer was so he offered £5,000 – DEAL.
Round Six produced the £15,000, £10 and 10p. The Banker’s last offer would have been £8,800. John’s box 21 contained £250, which proved John had beaten The Banker.
As a Christmas Star, John also received a personal message from Johnny Wilkinson, a signed rugby ball and an invitation to watch the England team train. As an extra treat - when John and Marion renew their wedding vows the Banker has arranged a luxury hotel close to their home. Their girls also received tickets to High School Musical the Ice Tour.
