Bridget’s Story
46-year-old Bridget McNally took the walk of wealth. Bridget was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003 which spread to her bones and liver. Whilst battling the disease and undergoing chemotherapy she dedicated her time to raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity. Events included climbing Kilimanjaro and setting up a division of the Relay for Life charity in her area. Bridget’s courage and positivity mirrors the spirit and dedication of the late Jane Tomlinson.

Bridget’s Game
With no financial target in mind, Bridget just wanted to play the game. The opening round did little damage as £1; £100, £5,000, £750 and £20,000 were revealed. The Banker’s first offer was £8,800 – NO DEAL.
A mediocre second round produced £15,000, £3,000 and £10,000. Bridget’s children said “She is always thinking of others.” Her son Jack aged 16 goes into the Hall of Fame as the youngest ever box opener. The Banker offered a good £15,000 – NO DEAL.
Round Three took a turn for the worse. £75,000, 10p and £250,000 completed the nightmare round. The Banker offered a low £5,000 which was met by “Boos” from the Pilgrims. Bridget decided to NO DEAL.
£100,000 was found at the start of Round Four. £50 and £10 were revealed to everyone’s relief. The Banker decided to stick at £5,000 – NO DEAL.
Round Five brought sheer delight to Bridget as 1p, £500 and £5 concluded an all blue round. Her niece made the nomination and when asked why she explained. “She is just special, and deserves to have something back.” The Banker offered an improved £15,000 – NO DEAL.
A perfect Round Six saw £250, £1,000 and 50p, leaving the £35,000 and £50,000 on the board. The Banker was left with no choice but to offer £41,000. Bridget courageously said NO DEAL. After declining the swap, Box 7 was opened to reveal £50,000 which rewarded Bridget’s courage.
Bridget had more surprises as she also received, a holiday to Memphis staying at Elvis Presley's Heartbreak Hotel, a VIP tour around Graceland and tickets to all the other Memphis attractions. Bridget also had 2 nights at a Luxury Spa Hotel in Saundersfoot, plus complimentary treatments. If that wasn’t enough, she also got a treat for her and her friends to enjoy a hospitality package to Royal Ascot on Ladies day.
