It is St Patrick’s Day on...

It is St Patrick’s Day on Deal or No Deal and Noel reminded the current 22 that the £250,000 has not come to table since 9th December 2009! He personally guaranteed that today’s player would carry it out with them, possibly… Mark! The taxi driver from Red Bridge carried box 22 to the Pound Table. Noel was intrigued by a metal tag, which was sat on top of Mark’s box. It belonged to Mark’s dad, Mick, who was also a taxi driver; the tag had his number ‘31905’ engraved into it. Brad said he has a very close family and his two brothers Lee and Nathan were amongst the Pilgrims. Brad became emotional when he spoke about a planned day trip to see their beloved Arsenal end in tragedy. Before they set off, Brad received a phone call which informed him that his dad had suffered a fatal heart attack. It was a huge shock and the news tore his whole life apart. Brad looked to his dad for inspiration and has followed in his footsteps becoming a taxi driver. Noel showed a photograph of Brad’s wife, Patricia and daughter, Olivia. Brad is awaiting the arrival of a second baby which is due in a couple of weeks. Brad wanted some extra money in preparation for the new arrival.

Noel took a back seat in round one as Chloe opened the first box to unveil £3,000. Brad looked for the luck of the Irish in Ciara who delivered £5. Sonia dealt a big blow of £100,000 before £1 and £500 completed a decent start. Brad was disappointed to see his target of £100,000 go. The Banker was worried about Brad and offered £9,500 – No Deal. Noel wanted Brad to win big so he could afford some decent clothes! Round two produced £10, £250 and £100. Brad was one step closer to a big win. “It’s looking rather good” said Noel. The Banker knew the game was swinging Brad’s way but he wasn’t too worried, he could always get a blank receipt and claim on expenses! An unsettling offer of £13,013 was declined – No Deal. Noel was asked if he fancied a quickie in round three. Brad selected boxes 15, 10 and 1 to open in quick succession. £50, £10,000 and £250,000 were wiped off the board. “Still a good board” thought Brad. The Banker warned Brad that he needed to read the board and suppress his ambition. The Banker thought Brad should take his offer of £4,000 – No Deal.

Noel felt the Banker was underestimating Brad who at the age of 30 has already had a big fight against Cancer. Just a year after he lost his dad Brad was diagnosed with Cancer. He underwent three batches of Chemotherapy and an operation to remove all the Cancer cells from his body. Brad said it was the worst pain of his life but six months later he was given the all-clear. Brad has striven to make the most of life ever since by going travelling, getting married, having a baby and is planning to run a marathon next month. Brad wanted to kiss John in round three but he had the £750. £75,000 and £5,000 ended a damaging round. The Banker pointed out that he took off the top and not the bottom, which would keep offers low. Brad shocked everyone by requesting the swap, “deal” said the Banker. Noel took box 22 away replacing it with Brad’s lucky number 8. In a tactical move, Brad choose box 22 first in round five. Chris flipped the lid to see 50p! £1,000 and 10p ended a devastating round for the Banker. The Banker was impressed with Brad’s tactics and offered £22,000. Dan was scared by the penny and told Brad it was time to go. Andy disagreed and thought the board was worth a gamble. Brad was ready for the question – Deal! Noel wanted Brad to wreck it. £50,000, £20,000 and £35,000 were found in the perfect final round leaving 1p / £15,000 on the board. The Banker would have offered £5,000. Noel flipped box 8 to see £15,000 and confirm the Banker spanking! Brad was delighted and had the last word by saying “it’s been emotional.”

For the full game report click here>>>
more

May went all the way on Mother’s Day

It is Mother’s Day on Deal...

It is Mother’s Day on Deal or No Deal and all the contestants placed a photograph of their Mum in their name badges. Noel wished all Mums a happy Mother’s Day before May was picked to play. The semi-retired hospital driver hoped it would be a Sunday to remember as she brought box 14 to the Pound Table. Noel discovered that May uses her own car for hospital trips and it was becoming a bit clapped out. May wants to win enough money for a new car with wheelchair access. Noel held up a photograph of May with her late husband ken, taken 10 days before his death. May and Ken undertook a sponsored walk to raise money for people with respiratory problems. They walked down all the piers in the UK, starting in South-end-on-sea which has the world’s largest pier. They completed the walk in just a fortnight raising over £7,000. Noel revealed that May hoards things down her bra, at the moment she had Ken’s front door key with a lucky Leprechaun, a white crystal and a jade crystal for good luck. May has waited two years for her chance and devised a system, where she picks odd numbers first.

Box one hid the £10,000, the system May was using meant box three was next and Kath delivered 1p! May gave Kath the traditional penny kiss. “Where’s Noel?” asked May who didn’t see him stood next to Neide in preparation for box five. £250,000 exploded off the board. May admitted she needed positivity and £5 and £500 concluded the round. May felt the board was balanced in her favour. The Banker described May as ‘feisty’ and commented on her treasure chest! The Banker revealed that May had a gift for everyone in the Dream Factory. Noel carried on a huge bag of South-end-on-sea rock. The Banker offered £6,500 – No Deal. £50,000 was first out in round two. May was keen to point out that her system finished with ‘death’ box 22. £35,000 and £75,000 completed a horrific round. Noel thought the only way she’d beat the Banker is if he choked on his rock. The second offer was £1,800 – No Deal. Noel wanted an all-blue third round and Sonia took the first step with £750. £3,000 and £10 concluded a low round. May spoke to the Banker and tried her best to talk up her situation. The Banker wanted time to think about the offer, so he rang back after deciding to offer £6,750 – No Deal.

Noel was hoping the boxes would be kind to May in round four. £20,000, 10p and £100 were wiped from the board. May had to miss out box 14 from her system because it was on the table. The Banker couldn’t shoot up the offer, although £7,600 was the biggest offer so far. May said “OHO” which meant only here once – No Deal. May requested a quick round, which Noel calls a ‘sticky plaster’ round. £250 and £50 were followed by the sting in the tail £100,000! “The plaster was ripped off to expose a shocking wound” commented Noel. The Banker was heard laughing down the phone because if it had been a blue the offer would have been £17,500. In reality the offer was £2,200. May opened up and said she had laughed more at Deal or No Deal than any other time in her life. She conceded that she is a serious person but after 44 years of marriage she can feel lonely. May spoke from her heart when she confessed she has struggled to see a purpose to her life. She has discovered that it is her involvement with charity and helping others which is now her purpose in life. Noel was thankful for her honesty and May wanted to take a chance – No Deal. The top of the game £15,000 went first in the final round. “It wasn’t meant to be” said May. 50p and £1,000 left £5,000 and £1 on the board. The Banker asked May if she remembered Christmas Stars. A series of special shows where people are nominated to play Deal or No Deal. The Banker revealed that a number of people had nominated May so she should never think there isn’t a purpose to her life. The offer was £2,000 and a guaranteed swap if she went on. May wanted to go to the end – No Deal. May choose to swap box 14 for Shahid‘s box 22, which is specially adapted. So for the first time ever a player was asked to close the game. Shahid opened the box which contained £5,000! May gave Noel a cuddle in celebration. Noel was proud to have met such an amazing person and May thanked everyone for their nominations. As a final twist the Banker rang back to wish May a happy Mother’s Day and a bouquet of flowers were presented to our Sunday star.

For the full game report click here>>>
more

A game of two Bankers

The Banker has been playing with...

The Banker has been playing with tactics so Noel hoped today’s player is feeling sharp… Mark! The Banking team manager from Chester finally had his opportunity to take on the Banker. Noel was interested to hear that Mark had recently impersonated the Deal or No Deal host. As an incentive at work, Mark put together a game with a Deal or No Deal theme. The top performers were allowed to select a box and then decided to Deal or No Deal. Mark brought along a horseshoe for good luck. His partner Liz owns a horse and it was one of the original shoes it was wearing when she acquired it. Liz painted up the shoe and gave it to Mark last Christmas. Noel held up a photograph of Mark’s mum Jean, she sadly passed away in 1996 after suffering from Cancer. Mark became emotional when he started to talk about his mum describing her as a wonderful lady. There was no denying that Mark was here to play the game after he spoke of his desire to take home a lot of money and change his life forever. Good friend Steve was amongst the Pilgrims to offer his support.

£3,000 and £1,000 were the first out, which would be the Banker’s favourite way to start a game. £500 was spoilt by Kath with £50,000 before Huddy concluded the round with £100. The Banker sounded stern because the researchers who work on the show gave Noel an inaccurate piece of information. Emily and Robbie who look after all the contestants came out to apologise to Noel. The Banker believed Mark was here to seize the moment so his box was worth £8,250 – No Deal. A big hole emerged in round two when £20,000 and £35,000 were wiped from the board. £10 completed the round. Noel commented that Mark still hasn’t found any of the Banker’s power five. The Banker confused Noel by asking if he had any toilet duck. He explained that after their ghastly research, Robbie and Emily were now cleaning the toilets! The second offer was £10,000 – No Deal. Newbie Monique pulled out a red £5,000 in round three. Neide delivered the 1p and got a kiss for her efforts. Jessica also did Mark a favour by revealing £250. The Banker thought it was a very unusual board and promised that the offers would keep going up if Mark avoided the biggest three amounts. As it stood the offer was now £18,000. Huddy said there was another round in there, Andrew agreed and said he would also no deal. Noel said £18,000 wouldn’t be enough to make Mark’s big dream of opening a smoothie bar a reality. Friend Steve thought the blues were there for the picking. The Banker was impressed with Mark’s analytical approach but warned that if the top amounts went, his offers would fall through the floor. Mark wanted to be true to himself and hoped he was making the correct decision – Deal!

A lot of people were clearly stunned by Mark’s choice and Noel wanted a demolition job. 50p and £1 would have been a perfect start to round four. £75,000 concluded the round, but that wouldn’t be enough to beat the Banker. The Banker said Mark proved that not all Bankers are greedy and would have offered £24,000. Stacie kicked started round five with £5. Mark wanted the round over quickly so Chris and Sonia sharply produced £50 and £15,000. At five box the two biggest amounts were still on the board. The Banker was having a chuckle to himself and declared the game a disaster. Noel passed on the bad news that the offer would have been £46,000. Mark eventually managed to destroy the game with £250,000, £100,000 and 10p discovered in the final round. £750 and £10,000 were left on the board. The Banker would have offered £4,500. Noel flipped the lid on box two to unveil £750. Despite the regret of dealing too soon, Mark never lost sight of the £18,000. He planned to treat his family, go on holiday and help charity. His last words were about the Banker, describing him as a ‘very clever man.’

For the full game report click here>>>
more

“Be on your guard, focus and...

“Be on your guard, focus and play the game… Brian!” announced Noel. The Elvis fanatic took the Walk of Wealth and brought box 11 to the Pound Table. Noel wanted to find out why he was such an admirer of Elvis. “He’s been a fan of mine for some time” mistakenly said Brian. He meant to say that he has been a fan of Elvis since he was 12 years old. Noel discovered that Brian’s house is a shrine to Elvis, and has even called it the ‘heartbreak hotel.’ “Have you thought about psychiatric help?” joked Noel. Youngest son Lee was amongst the Pilgrims to support his dad. Brian wants to visit Graceland but plans to stay for a whole month. Noel was asked to wear Brian’s Elvis shirt which he received for his 50th birthday. Brian mentioned he is a carer for his elderly dad who only has one arm after suffering with Polio as a child. Despite his handicap Brian said his dad worked hard all his life and did more with one arm then most people do with two. Noel held up a photograph of Brian’s children including eldest son Shaun and his only daughter Louise.

Newbie Andy started the game badly with £75,000, £35,000 followed before Tony revealed the first blue 50p. Everyone was stunned when Huddy produced £100,000 in a very destructive opening round. In complete contrast Jessica concluded the round with 1p! The Banker thought Noel and Brian looked liked two Brillo pads, one new and the other used. The Banker was ready with the lowest opening offer ever but the penny pulled it back to £1,977. Brian said two bad things happened the year that he got married and Elvis died – No Deal. £250, £50 and £750 were found in an all-blue second round. The Banker said keeping hold of the £250,000 is Brian’s saving grace. He warned Brian not to go any deeper and take £10,000. Brian had come for more than that – No Deal. Round three saw more reds with £50,000 and £15,000 wiped off the board. Noel told Brian that he had to believe that the £250,000 was on the Pound Table. £500 completed the round. The Banker refused to play mind games and frankly told Brian that he just needed luck. The Banker said he was offering a lifeline by sticking at £10,000. Brian was seriously considering the offer, when the Banker rang back to say if he continues and has an all-blue round the offer would be doubled to £20,000. Brian decided it was worth the gamble – No Deal.

Brian tried to lift the sober mood in the Dream Factory in round four. £5,000 and £1,000 meant a blue was needed in the final box. Mark opened box five which hid £10,000 “oh what a round” said Noel. The Banker thought it would have been unlucky to find the £250,000 in that round but not the next round because there are fewer boxes. He told Brian not to gamble and thought his valuation for box 11 of £15,000 was fair. Once again when Brian was contemplating the offer the Banker rang back. He forgot to mention that if he went on and had an all-blue round the next offer would be £30,000. Noel wondered what would happen if the £250,000 was kept in play. The Banker said that if two reds and one blue were found the offer would be £10,007. Brian was ready for the question – Deal! Noel said the Banker could be on his way to one of his biggest victories. Andrew stopped that chance by revealing £250,000. Brian danced on the Walk of Wealth, £10 and £100 was also found in round five. The Banker would have offered £1,997. Round six produced 10p, £3,000 and £20,000, this left £1 and £5 on the board. The offer would have been £2.50p; Noel flipped the lid on box 11 which contained £5. Brian vowed to look after his family and was on his way to Graceland!

For the full game report click here>>>
more

Noel said “the evil genius awaits...

Noel said “the evil genius awaits the pleasure of your company… Ruth!” It was the turn of the teacher from Liverpool to try and change her life forever. Ruth brought box 16 to the Pound Table. Noel was interested to hear that as a child Ruth had met Princess Diana. Ruth was shocked when Princess Diana said her name, forgetting that she has a bright name badge on. She was so scared she hid behind her mother. Noel showed a photograph of boyfriend Barnard, Ruth has been with him for two years and described him as her ‘angel.’ Noel discovered that Ruth was ill last year and Barnard was very supportive and helped her through it. “Your too sweet for words” said Noel as she became emotional. It is Ruth’s aim to win a deposit for a house and was prepared to use her gut instinct to select the boxes.

Ruth wanted to choose newbie John second, so Chloe could show him how it’s done. £10 was found. John learnt well and revealed the 1p! After the penny kiss £500, £20,000 and £750 concluded a good opening round. The Banker was still smug after Steve’s game but the opening round had taken the shine off it. The Banker wanted Ruth to make history and deal at the first offer of £8,500 – No Deal. £50,000 wasn’t a good start to round two. Ruth was torn between box 11 and 12; she went with Nicola and box 11 which hid £1. Shahid concluded the round with £3,000. The Banker told Ruth to get out whilst the money is good £9,500 – No Deal. Round three was extremely expensive with £15,000, £35,000 and £250,000 wiped from the board. “What have I done?” asked Ruth, Noel called it a ‘horrible’ round. The Banker gloated by saying it was a wonderful round. He went on to predict a disaster and told Ruth to take £1,000. Noel reminded Ruth that the game can swing back and Dan advised her to continue – No Deal.

May and mummy Kristi restored the energy by unveiling 50p and £100 respectively. Noel said it would be ‘cracking’ to have an all-blue round but £10,000 completed the fourth round. The Banker wasn’t prepared to underestimate Ruth and offered £9,000; Ruth said that was “more than enough.” She went on to say that the amount would see her on the property ladder but knew £100,000 would buy a house outright! Ruth accidentally said the offer was £9,500 so the Banker upped it to £9,500. The Banker played mind games by saying he could picture her with a key to her new house. Ruth was honest by saying it would take her 12 years to save up that amount and made a personal decision to – No Deal. Ruth requested a quick fire fifth round. Dan, Michael and Jenny were poised and produced 10p, £5,000 and £1,000 which earned them all a kiss. The Banker wasn’t going to prolong any agony and offered £18,500 for box 15. “Doubled the last offer” said Ruth who once again looked to get more out of the game. The Banker called back to talk to her and told her not to gamble anymore. Ruth was ready for the question – Deal! Another quick fire round saw £75,000; £100,000 and £5 complete a perfect final round! £50 and £250 were left on the board; the offer would have been £99. Noel flipped open box 16 to see £250. Ruth admitted her target was £7,000 but she goes away with £18,500 after some very brave no deals.

For the full game report click here>>>
more

Caroline played a crackling game

“Your dream destination is the Crazy Chair… Caroline!”

“Your dream destination is the Crazy Chair… Caroline!” announced Noel. It was her turn to come out and face the Banker. Noel welcomed Caroline to her game along with her husband Ivor who was sat amongst the Pilgrims. Caroline met Ivor on the last day of her holiday in Minorca. A year later they moved in together and have now been married for four years. Caroline said that he was the best thing to happen to her. Noel showed a photograph of Caroline’s ‘beautiful’ bearded dragon called Spike. A second photograph of Caroline’s two children James and Becky followed. Caroline wants to win big so she can buy a pint sized micro pig. The animal might be small but the price tag is large at £700. She also needs to purchase a field because Ivor won’t have the pig in the house. Noel asked Caroline if her box one meant anything to her. Caroline said it meant nothing but felt lucky.

Caroline’s neighbour May began proceedings with 50p. Caroline was picking numbers at random and it worked with 10p found after. Drinking buddy Steve wanted to have the penny; Noel commented that if it was the 1p then it would be the best start to a game ever! Box 16 was opened but revealed the £250,000! There would be no confetti for Caroline but £500 and £5 concluded a cracking start. The Banker has been looking forward to Caroline’s game amid a terrible week for him so far. He wondered if a micro pig would take less time to cook, “crackling good gag” joked Noel. The Banker considered £7,000 to be a good opening offer. Caroline also wants to go to Indonesia to see Komodo dragons and help her children through their education – No Deal. Newbie Nicola kicked started round two with £10. £15,000 and £100 completed the round. The board looked very strong and the Banker knew it was getting serious offering £10,500. “That’s a lot of pigs” jokingly said Caroline but she was here to play the game – No Deal. £10,000, £50,000 and £750 caused some damage in round three. The Banker pointed out that without the Quarter of a Million the offers would be that little bit lower. Noel said the Banker would buy box one for £8,000 – No Deal.

Caroline went back to her blue ways in round four. £1 and £250 left only two blues left on the board. Ruth had the sting in the tail of £35,000 which ended a well balanced round. The Banker was saved by the £35,000 but conceded that the round went in Caroline’s favour. It was the top of the game so far £12,000. Caroline asked Ivor for his opinion, “I don’t want to hog the limelight” Noel wasn’t impressed with his witty remark and stuck sticky tape over his mouth. Caroline decided to – No Deal. “Who’s got the penny?” asked Caroline in round five. She couldn’t find the answer £50; £20,000 and £100,000 meant it was a one box game in terms of life changing money. The Banker said he could be very cruel but there was only one amount higher than the offer of £5,001 – No Deal. Caroline simply had to miss the £75,000 in the final round. A perfect start saw Gaz pull out the 1p! Noel was relieved that Caroline would not become number 30 in the club. £5,000 and £1,000 left £3,000 and £75,000 on the board. The Banker felt pig sick and for the second time this week he needed to offer £26,000. Noel said this was the ‘lonely moment’ and Caroline wasn’t sure what to do. Steve said “once in a lifetime” but Hazel warned “your luck can run out.” Caroline asked for the question – Deal! Noel flipped box one to see £3,000 confirming Caroline made the correct decision. Caroline can make all her dreams come true and insisted that she would buy her pig, help her kids and take her dream Indonesia trip.
more

Noel was excited to start today’s story...

Noel was excited to start today’s story “once upon a time there was a player called… Eddie!” Girlfriend Sarah had already become very emotional as Eddie brought box 13 to the Pound Table. “We can’t believe he’s here!” joked Noel. Eddie was an outdoor instructor in the Lake District but soon realised he didn’t like teaching. Eddie wanted to continue working outdoors, so he became a tree surgeon. Noel thought that was a dangerous job, Eddie admitted that was part of the appeal. Brother Chris, his girlfriend Nikki and friend Coots all sat aside Eddie’s girlfriend Sarah in the audience. Noel showed a photograph from Sarah’s 21st birthday celebrations and a picture of Eddie’s dog Romeo. Eddie was annoyed that he had box 13 and Noel wished him lots of luck!

Noel had the tissues ready before the first box was opened! £10,000 and £1,000 were found first. Hazel wanted Eddie to win big so he could buy trousers which fit, box two contained 1p! Sarah was on her feet cheering on Eddie. £500 and £100 concluded a good opening round. The Banker could see the headlines ‘Tree Surgeon kisses Hazel but then marries weeping Willow.” He added “they divorce and then discovers she’s a Beech.” Noel confirmed the opening offer was £9,700 – No Deal. Sarah came down to join Eddie. £50,000 produced a moan but £10 was discovered. Sarah was still teary so Noel ran to get a bucket, umbrella and to put on his wellies. Newbie Dan completed the second round with £35,000. The Banker commented that since Sarah came down it had gone wrong for Eddie. The Banker was still a little worried so he stuck at £9,750 – No Deal. Things continued badly in round three with £5, £20,000 and £100,000 all wiped from the board. Noel wanted the confetti and Eddie said he would consider proposing if he wins big. The Banker heard Sarah say ‘there is one more round in it’ so he only went down a little to £8,000 – No Deal.

Sarah had a tidal wave of emotion when £1 and 50p were found in round four. It was a really important final box, Gaz revealed £15,000. The Banker thought his offer of £11,500 would be enough to get him out of the game. The Banker did warn that if he continued and had an all-blue round the rewards could be tremendous. Eddie knew to win big money he needed to take a risk; the Banker rang back and upped the offer to £12,500. Eddie said he would need to do better; the Banker went up to £12,750 – No Deal. £5,000 and £3,000 meant Eddie couldn’t take both big ones out in round five. Aimee concluded the round with £250, Sarah was very excited. The Banker offered a huge £25,000. “Will he go up to £27,000?” cheekily asked Sarah. The Banker agreed but only if Eddie proposed. Loud jeers came from the Pilgrims as Eddie went down on one knee and popped the question, “of course” replied Sarah and added “Oh God what a day!” Sarah then asked for £29,000 as an engagement present. Noel said the Banker wouldn’t offer £29,000, he offered £30,000 – Deal! £75,000, £250,000 and £750 concluded the perfect final round. The Banker would have dropped to 30p. Noel flipped box 13 to see £50 “that’s a spanking!” joyfully said Eddie. Sarah had tears of joy and Noel thought it was a most special game. more

After Kevin’s heartbreaking game...

After Kevin’s heartbreaking game Noel thought this would be a tough challenge for… Matthew! The Superman look-a-like motored down the Walk of Wealth. Matthew is a traffic controller for the highways agency, based in a control room he is charge of the matrix signs. A photograph of him with best friend Paul in India was shown. They went on a three week round trip to India in the middle of their finals and had an amazing experience. A second photograph of Matthew and his girlfriend Sally outside a café in Ibiza was shown. “So that is Lois Lane?” joked Noel. The final photograph was of Matt with his Grandma Ethel. Matthew said Ethel has a mad friend called Audrey who has threatened to ‘smash his face in’ if he no deals at £7,000.

Newbie Andrew predicted a massive win and started the game with 50p. £10 and £1 lifted the energy in the Dream Factory. The sensational start continued with £10,000 but £50,000 was the sting in the tail. The Banker thought Matthew was a ‘man of steel’ but he wanted to be Lex Luther for the day. The opening offer was £8,800 – No Deal. Round two began badly with Hazel box 19 £250,000. “What a shame” said Noel but there was still lots of money on the board. Noel didn’t like the way it was going when £20,000 was out next. Kristi concluded the round with £5. The Banker said Hazel was his favourite nut, and he cut the offer in two to £4,400. Mathew thought that was a fair reflection on the game but decided to – No Deal. Matthew has tried an array of different jobs and even applied to become a weather man! Noel requested a forecast using the money board. Matthew had to think fast but pulled off a fantastic report on his own game. Noel was very impressed because it hadn’t been rehearsed. Round three produced £500, 10p and £75,000. Another sting in the tail knocked Matthew back. The Banker described Matthew as an intelligent, well educated and articulate man. The Banker was worried because he doesn’t have much experience of that type of person, because he only deals with Deal or No Deal contestants! The Banker remembered what Matthew said about Audrey and offered £7,000. Matthew was in limbo and didn’t know what to do. After a battle with himself he decided to make the most of his one chance – No Deal.

Matthew generated passion in round four when £3,000 and £50 were wiped from the board. Noel thought Matthew was close to taking the £7,000 but knew his dream was to open a bar in Ibiza with Sally. The all important final box contained £1,000, which was fine although it wasn’t the 1p. The Banker thought the board was 50/50 but Matthew thought it had swung in his favour. The Banker said he would deal at his offer of £11,000. It was the top of the game and Matthew was again battling with himself. Gaz said he would continue but with fewer boxes it becomes more difficult – No Deal. £750, 1p and £15,000 were found in round five. The Banker hoped Matthew was intelligent enough to realise that he was lucky and won’t push it any further. The offer was £18,000; Noel thought it was very clever offer. Matthew wasn’t prepared to take the risk – Deal! The final round couldn’t have been better with £100,000 found in the first box. Matthew ran around the studio in celebration. £100 and £5,000 left £250 and £35,000 on the board. “One of us has made a big mistake” said the Banker. £9,000 would have been the offer. Noel flipped open box 22 to see £250. It was a confirmed victory and Banker spanking. Matthew said he had a phenomenal experience and he wanted that just as much as the money.

For the full game report click here>>>
more

‘Hard to read’ Chris scared the Banker

The Dream Factory returned to...

The Dream Factory returned to normal after the explosive Love Week. Noel wanted to make today’s player wealthier than they ever dared to be… Chris! Noel wanted to kick start the week with a magnificent win, Chris brought box 22 to the Pound Table. A photograph of Chris’s nine year old daughter Shannon was shown. Chris became emotional saying she meant everything to him. Noel welcomed Chris’s girlfriend Melissa who was sat amongst the Pilgrims. Melissa said they met at work but loathed each other so it was a struggle for Cupid. They went out for a drink and were surprised when they got together. Chris had brought a metal figure eight, which was a present from Melissa. Chris took the same number eight to his audition and planned to keep box eight to the end. Noel mentioned that the £250,000 and £100,000 haven’t been to the table for a while, and hoped for a mega-money win.

£10 was quickly followed by the £250,000; exactly what Noel and Chris didn’t want to see. Jenny unveiled £10,000 before Cliff opened box seven to see 1p! Chris reluctantly gave him the penny kiss. Noel thought that was the perfect response to loosing the Quarter of a Million. £100,000 concluded an extraordinary opening round. The Banker described Chris as ambitious and tenacious, which he needed to be with a first offer of £3,100. Chris was going to respect all the offers but – No Deal. £100 and £250 was an improvement in round two. Noel discovered that Chris has been to Las Vegas for a gamble which the Banker should keep in mind. £5 concluded an all-blue round. The Banker was going to take him seriously until he saw he is ‘only’ a cook. He was intrigued to see how the game goes with an offer of £7,500 – No Deal. Chris continued his blue run £1 was first out in round three. Newbie Jessica opened box four which contained £750 and 10p concluded another all-blue round! The Banker admitted that six blues in a row had completely turned it around; it was similar to Justin’s game in Love Week which saw him leave with £75,000! The Banker wasn’t going to forget that so he wanted Chris to sell his box for £14,000. It was a very good amount as it was nearly double the last offer – No Deal.

Noel believed this would be the pivotal round. Chris hacked into the block of reds with £20,000, £3,000 was then found and Hazel damaged it further £35,000. Melissa and Chris have been dreaming about starting up their own Café and any money won would be spent on their dream. The Banker thought Chris was difficult to read and was a ‘man of contrast.’ The Banker was keen to make a deal and went up to £15,000 – No Deal. Noel didn’t want any groans in round five. £5,000, £1,000 and 50p were wiped from the board, the Pilgrims went wild and Chris had every reason to feel confident. Noel informed Chris that ‘Mr B’ would like to purchase box 22 for £22,000! Chris was shocked by the amount but knew £75,000 would completely change his life. Noel thought the Banker had pitched it just right. Chris wanted to continue and asked for the question but before he could say ‘no deal’ the Banker rang. He upped the offer to £24,000! Chris admitted that amount was ‘life changing’ and was close to his target – Deal! Chris needed to find the big ones in the final round. £500, £75,000 and £50 were found. £15,000 and £50,000 were left on the board. The Banker would have been worried if Chris had gone on so the offer would have been £31,000. Noel flipped the lid on box 22 to reveal £15,000 “what a great result” cried Noel. Chris could have had a little more but he was over the moon with £24,000!

For the full game report click here>>>
more

Yaser loved his Valentines spectacular

It is St Valentines Day on...

It is St Valentines Day on Deal or No Deal and Noel sent his love to the wings, Pilgrims but none to the Banker. It was the climax of the Love Week and we have had big money wins thanks to the tactical weapon; The Throne of Love. It was the last opportunity to win mega-money and would be a Valentines Day to remember for… Yaser! The cab driver from Rotherham has profound hearing difficulties but has managed to over come his disability to lead a normal life. Yaser explained that he can hear a little but he also relies on lip reading. Noel found out that Yaser is a big gambler who would go all the way. It was the moment to choose a Love God or Goddess; Gaz was selected and took to the Throne of Love.

£10,000, 50p and £500 were first out in round one. ‘Elvis’ who has called his house Graceland unveiled £20,000. Ruth concluded the start with 10p. Yaser had blown a hole in the Banker’s power five. But he was in the best mood he has been in for any Valentines Day because he got a card! “I love you Banker, you are such a wonderful little boy. Don’t be late for dinner, lots of love Mummy” was written inside. The Banker was jealous of Yaser’s ‘magic’ which he has never had, so he reluctantly offered £10,000 – No Deal.£3,000 was followed by newbie Mark who opened his box badly but delivered a blue £100. Yaser’s dream is to set up his own Chauffeur business and believes with his driving skills he could beat the Stig. £15,000 concluded the second round. Yaser’s power five was still intact and love was defiantly in the air. The Banker didn’t know why nobody didn’t love him especially when he is offering £15,000 – No Deal. Round three began with Debs and the shock of the £250,000. Noel told Yaser to recalibrate his aspirations. £75,000 was another blow and £10 completed the round. The Banker said that was one of the biggest crashes he can remember with the offer now £2,000 – No Deal.

Noel wanted a low fourth round. £1,000 was followed by Linda who unveiled 1p and got a kiss and a hug for her efforts. Clive concluded the good round with £250. The Banker wanted Yaser to love and commit to the offer of £16,500. It was the top of the game but Yaser could still use his Love God – No Deal. £5,000 was wiped from the board in round five before the Banker rang to try and persuade Yaser to choose Gaz next. “Never going to happen” replied Yaser but the Banker warned that if he ignored his polite request, he would be punished with low offers. Yaser refused to give in but found £35,000 and £50,000 to complete a damaging round. The Banker thought Yaser might be tempted with £4,000 – No Deal. Round five began with £1 and Yaser finally decided to use his Love God. Gaz predicted £250 was in box four but it hid £5! The Banker offered £18,888 after overhearing Gaz and Yaser speak of their fondness for the number eight. Yaser asked for the question – No Deal. £50 left a £250 and £100,000 finish. The Banker fancied a gamble and guaranteed the swap. The offer was a huge £31,000 and at the age of 21 Yaser knew that was amazing. Yaser was asking for advice but then something clicked and he asked for the question straight away – Deal! Noel realised that the clarity of the situation suddenly hit Yaser. Noel wondered if he would have swapped but Yaser would have stuck with box 15 which contained £250! Yaser played with passion and Noel was full of admiration for Yaser who produced a truly fascinating game.

For the full game report click here>>>
more
